Touring work nationally and internationally, the Playhouse remains firmly rooted in its vibrant home city, where its spacious modernist building – fronted by Anish Kapoor’s Sky Mirror – is one of the region’s most popular landmarks.

galleriesofjustice The sinister and grim stories of Nottingham's own outlaws are brought to life in the building where they were judged, imprisoned and executed. Their aim is to educate and entertain and inform everyone who comes through their doors.

royalconcerthall The Royal Concert Hall in the English city of Nottingham, is part of the city's Royal Centre, which also incorporates the Victorian Theatre Royal. The Royal Concert Hall is owned by Nottingham City Council and its striking modern architecture has proved to be a city landmark right at the heart of Nottingham City Centre, opposite the more recently built The Cornerhouse complex.

caves The English city of Nottingham has a unique architectural heritage - beneath the city there are nearly 500 man-made caves cut into the natural sandstone. Some date back to the medieval period and possibly even earlier. These caves “constitute a feature of the City that is unique in the national context” (Nottingham Local Plan, 2005: 79).
