Tenancy Payments

Payments prior to tenancy starting, payable to Fairview Estates ‘The Agent’

Holding Deposit – 1 weeks rent

Deposit – 5 weeks rent

During the tenancy (payable to the Agent)

For English properties:

  • Payment of £50 including VAT to change your tenancy agreement
  • Payment of interest for any late rent payments at a rate of 3%
  • Payment of £50 including VAT for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys or security devices, plus the cost of keys or device

Help Me Fix

You have access to Help Me Fix, which is self-serve system that will connect you with an engineer via video link to help deal with your maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.

The video engineer will try to help solve the problem, and assess urgency for a physical visit. Where an emergency attendance is required, they are able to send a request onto an emergency contractor.

Property has been broken in to – Please call the police in your area

What happens if it is not an emergency?

Help Me Fix will triage your maintenance request and if it is a genuine emergency, they will issue an engineer to help. 

Incidences of keys/fobs being locked inside the property are tenants’ responsibility, you will be liable for the cost to resolve this.

Where an emergency number is called and an engineer attends, if it is not an emergency, you may be liable for the cost of the call out.
